We would like to thank Peninsula Construye for the interview in the special edition of Biophilic architecture by DNA. Our projects impress with their design and invite us to reflect on the relationship between man and the nature that he inhabits. We constantly demonstrate that sustainability must go hand in hand with local culture and defend the territory with a vision of global strategy.
We have shared with editorial peninsula builds our experience with biophilic and nature-integrated projects in the jungle of the beautiful coast of Tulum, Mexico to have a union in Architecture and Nature, one of the pillars of DNA Barcelona.

We would like to give a big thank to the “THE CORE” Magazine for publishing our project “Zenote” by DNA Barcelona Architects”.

“ZENOTE” is the new concept of WORK-PLAY-LIVE, the only opportunity to experience the sensation of being embraced by the Mexican nature. A circular building of 129 apartments crowned with vegetation, which embraces a diaphonous space with a large central pool. Generating a complete sensation of being surrounded by nature, creates a microclimate that reduces temperatures and allows cross ventilation. DNA presents its relevance in sustainability respecting the ecosystem and the biodiversity of the fauna, contributing to the use of natural materials specifically from the Yucatan region.

We want to thank “Real Estate Mexico” magazine for publishing an advertorial about us in the special edition, called “The art of Living”.
In DNA we always aim towards the fusion between art and technology and in this case, we sought the fusion between nature and architecture, which generates the word, as we call it in DNA, “Archi-Nature”. In this way, we take inspiration from the bird’s nests, and from them our design process in DNA begins.

We want to thank the magazine “Península Construye” for publishing our project ZENOTE by DNA Barcelona Architects in Tulum, Mexico, in the special edition, called solutions to defend the value of water in cities. Zenote is a new concept of WORK-PLAY-LIVE and the opportunity to enjoy the unique experience of being embraced by the magnificent forests of the Mexican jungle. A great project inspired by the mystical, millennial and timeless Mexican cenotes of the Tulum area. At DNA, we emphasis on the concept of sustainability since the communion between architecture and its environment is a priority for us. Mexico has been a golden opportunity for us, where with large projects we have been able to use and put into practice different technologies that offer us projects that are respectful of the ecosystem and biodiversity that this extraordinary territory gives us.

We would like to give a big thank to the Magazine “D&D” for publishing our project Hotel&Resort Community  “LIFE TREE, TULUM”.

The world’s first Eco-Resort the “Tree Life” in Tulum, Mexico which was born from the client’s desire to generate a new experience. From a conceptual point of view, in DNA we always aim towards the fusion between art and technology and in this case, we sought the fusion between nature and architecture, which generates the word, as we call it in DNA, “Archi-Nature”. In this way, we take inspiration from the bird’s nests, and from them our design process in DNA begins.

This project was more about embracing nature and the jungle in Tulum, therefore an iconic project was generated from the desire to create a tree of life, with a centre from which everything revolves around, and where ten nests structures appear. The experience is enhanced by wandering through the place through walkways, climbing from a walkway to the top of the trees and then you are in your own nest. In the end, today`s tourism must be more oriented to nature and how to live those unique experiences, so that you return home nourished by exceptional experiences.
